Christie audaciously rides her marine predator on spearmint waves. As a ginger haired woman she wields her individuality in her surf surrounds. Arlene TextQueen ’s works in interactive, performance and illustrative design as well as painting and shows in some of Australia ’s most well known contemporary art spaces.

The recipient of a number of commissions including that for the Victorian Tapestry Workshop, her work has been seen in leading festival exhibitions including Melbourne ’s  Next Wave and Midsumma Festivals and WA ’s Artrage Festival.Her work has been included in numerous group exhibitions including the MCA ’s Primavera and the NGV ’s 2004 Australian Culture Now and is being collected by some of Australia ’s most innovative collectors.
